1. About This Service

Kriegsmarine Network operates a small, private, self-hosted Fluxer community for friends and approved members.

Registration is not open to the public. Every account must be individually approved by the administrator.

Kriegsmarine Network also hosts game servers and may maintain directories, announcements, or promotional listings for game servers, websites, and other online services operated by members or third parties.

The Network is administered under the name Xylenz and is based in the European Union. We aim to process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable EU data-protection laws.

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to:

Kriegsmarine Network
Administrator: Xylenz
Email: [email protected]

2. Information We Process

We collect and process only the information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and moderate the Network.

This may include:

  • Your email address;
  • Your username, profile, and account information;
  • Messages, attachments, images, and other content you share;
  • Basic technical information generated by the server, such as IP addresses, login records, timestamps, and security logs;
  • Reports and moderation records;
  • Game-server addresses, domain names, website addresses, service descriptions, and other listing information submitted for publication; and
  • Information you voluntarily provide when contacting the administrator.

Although we generally request no personal information beyond an email address, messages and other content may contain personal data if users choose to share it. Because that content is stored on infrastructure we operate, it may constitute personal data processed by Kriegsmarine Network.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or build commercial profiles about our users.

3. Why We Process Information

We process information only where reasonably necessary to:

  • Create and administer approved accounts;
  • Provide and maintain the Network;
  • Host game servers and other online services;
  • Publish approved listings for game servers, websites, and other online services;
  • Authenticate users and protect accounts;
  • Maintain server stability and security;
  • Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • Investigate reports of misconduct or illegal material;
  • Enforce our community rules;
  • Protect the safety, privacy, and rights of members; and
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Our legal bases may include providing the service requested by members, our legitimate interests in operating a safe private community, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where specifically requested.

4. Publication of Game Servers, Websites, and Online Services

Kriegsmarine Network may publish information about game servers, websites, and other online services on our Fluxer server, website, or related community pages.

Information submitted for publication may include:

  • A game-server IP address and port;
  • A domain or subdomain;
  • A website address or other service URL;
  • The name and description of a server or service;
  • Connection instructions;
  • Availability or status information;
  • The name or username of the person operating the service, if they specifically agree to its publication; and
  • Other information intentionally supplied for inclusion in the listing.

When a person provides Kriegsmarine Network with a server IP address, domain, URL, or similar connection information and asks or agrees for it to be listed, that person authorizes Kriegsmarine Network to publish that information on the agreed Fluxer channels, websites, directories, or community pages.

Submitting information through a form or message clearly designated for server or website listings will also be treated as a request to publish the submitted listing information, provided the intended publication is clearly explained at the time of submission.

This authorization applies only to information intentionally provided for publication. It does not authorize Kriegsmarine Network to publish unrelated account information, private messages, email addresses, residential addresses, administrative credentials, or other information that was not submitted for that purpose.

Authority to submit a listing

A person submitting information about a game server, website, or other online service confirms that:

  • They own or operate the listed service; or
  • They have permission from its owner or operator to request the listing;
  • The submitted connection information is intended to be shared with the relevant audience;
  • Publishing the information will not expose an address, system, or service that was intended to remain private; and
  • The listing does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, contractual rights, or applicable law.

Members must not submit private, internal, administrative, residential, or otherwise sensitive connection information belonging to another person without that person’s clear authorization.

Public availability and associated risks

A server IP address or domain published on a public website can be viewed, copied, indexed, archived, scanned, or redistributed by other people and automated services.

Depending on the server configuration, an IP address may reveal approximate location or network-provider information. Anyone requesting publication should ensure that the server is properly secured and that they understand the risks of making its connection information available.

Kriegsmarine Network does not guarantee that information removed from our services will also disappear from search-engine indexes, third-party archives, screenshots, copies, or reposts made by others.

Withdrawal and removal

A person who previously authorized a listing may request that Kriegsmarine Network stop publishing it by contacting [email protected].

After verifying the request where reasonably necessary, we will remove the listing from locations under our control within a reasonable period, unless continued retention or limited processing is required by law, necessary to resolve a dispute, or justified for security or evidentiary reasons.

Withdrawal does not make earlier authorized publication unlawful and cannot automatically remove copies made or retained by independent third parties.

5. Private Messages and Operator Access

Chats on our Fluxer server are not end-to-end encrypted. Messages and attachments are stored in a form that may be technically accessible to the server administrator.

This does not mean that administrators routinely read private conversations.

The administrator will not access, search, or review private messages out of curiosity or for personal purposes. Private content may be accessed only where there is a specific and legitimate reason, such as:

  • Investigating a report of harassment, stalking, threats, or doxxing;
  • Investigating the suspected distribution of illegal material;
  • Responding to a credible safety or security concern;
  • Diagnosing a technical problem that cannot reasonably be resolved otherwise;
  • Investigating account compromise, spam, fraud, or abuse;
  • Preserving evidence of serious misconduct; or
  • Complying with a valid legal obligation.

Any review should be limited to the minimum content reasonably necessary for that purpose. Information found during such a review will be treated as confidential and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

Members should not use the Network to transmit passwords, financial credentials, legally privileged material, or information requiring end-to-end encryption.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

Kriegsmarine Network will not sell, publish, disclose, or voluntarily share users’ private messages or personal data for advertising, entertainment, gossip, retaliation, or any unrelated purpose.

This restriction does not apply to server IP addresses, domains, URLs, descriptions, and other listing information that a person has intentionally submitted and authorized Kriegsmarine Network to publish under Section 4.

Other personal data may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary:

  • With the relevant user’s authorization;
  • To investigate and respond to serious abuse, safety threats, or unlawful activity;
  • To protect the rights or safety of a member or another person;
  • To establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim;
  • To comply with applicable law or a valid and binding legal demand; or
  • To a service provider where necessary to operate a feature, subject to appropriate privacy safeguards.

Only the minimum information reasonably necessary will be disclosed.

Emails sent to [email protected] are processed using Google’s email infrastructure and are therefore also subject to Google’s applicable data-processing and privacy terms.

7. Zero-Tolerance Privacy and Safety Policy

Kriegsmarine Network has zero tolerance for invasions of privacy and serious breaches of personal safety or basic decency.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Doxxing or exposing another person’s private information;
  • Publishing another person’s private server or network information without authorization;
  • Stalking or persistent unwanted monitoring;
  • Harassment, intimidation, or credible threats;
  • Coordinated harassment or witch-hunting;
  • Sharing private or intimate material without consent;
  • Attempting to obtain passwords or private information through deception;
  • Impersonation intended to harm, deceive, or expose another person;
  • Encouraging others to invade someone’s privacy or target them offline; and
  • Similar conduct that violates another person’s privacy, safety, or dignity.

Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or permanent removal from the Network. Where necessary and lawful, relevant evidence may be preserved or apparently illegal conduct reported to the appropriate authorities.

Incidents may be reported to [email protected]. Reports should contain only the information necessary to investigate the incident.

8. Other Members

This is a trusted, approval-only community, but users remain responsible for what they share.

We cannot guarantee that another member will not copy, save, photograph, or redistribute information made available to them. Members must respect the confidentiality of private conversations and must not share another person’s personal information without authorization.

If you provide information about another person or their online service, you are responsible for ensuring that doing so is lawful, appropriate, authorized, and consistent with our community rules.

9. Retention and Deletion

Account information and user content are retained while an account remains active or until the information is deleted by the user or administrator.

Published server, website, and service listings are retained until they are removed by the administrator or removal is requested by an authorized person.

Server and security logs are retained for up to two years. Backups are also retained for up to two years before being overwritten or securely deleted.

Information may be retained longer where reasonably necessary to investigate serious abuse, comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, preserve relevant evidence, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

10. Security

The Network is self-hosted on privately controlled hardware located in the European Union.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access restrictions, encrypted connections, server hardening, backups, and security logging.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Members must use strong, unique passwords and keep their account credentials confidential.

People who request publication of a game server, website, or other online service remain responsible for securing that service, including installing updates, restricting administrative interfaces, using secure credentials, and exposing only the ports and services intended for public access.

If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements.

11. GDPR Rights

Subject to applicable legal conditions and limitations, members may request:

  • Access to their personal data;
  • Correction of inaccurate information;
  • Deletion of personal data;
  • Restriction of processing;
  • A portable copy of certain information;
  • Information about how their data is used;
  • Removal or correction of an authorized server or website listing; or
  • To object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Requests should be sent to [email protected]. We may request reasonable verification that the requester controls the relevant account, server, domain, website, or service.

Members also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in the EU country where they live or work, or where they believe a GDPR violation occurred.

12. No Automated Decision-Making

Kriegsmarine Network does not use personal data for automated decision-making, advertising profiles, or commercial behavioral tracking.

Moderation, account-approval, and listing decisions are made by the administrator.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy if our practices, infrastructure, or legal obligations change.

Material changes will be communicated to members through the Network. The revision date at the top of this Policy will indicate when it was most recently updated.
